Leslie DeLeon

Leslie is a recent graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. She is currently a paralegal at Clarke Gallagher Barbiero Amuso Glassman Law while she awaits the results of the bar exam. Leslie is strongly committed to the welfare, safety, and support of the community. Prior to joining Clarke Gallagher Barbiero Amuso Glassman Law, Leslie clerked for the Executive Office for Immigration Review, a sub-agency of the Department of Justice, where she drafted legal opinions of removal proceedings. Leslie also interned with multiple non-profits, including, the Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD), Nationalities Service Center, VECINA, and Face to Face. Through these organizations, Leslie supported low-income tenants facing eviction, advocated for the rights of asylum seekers and refugees under the Immigration Nationalities Act, helped transient individuals obtain birth certificates, and supported LCD’s Medical-Legal Partnership Initiative. In light of her work with the community, Leslie was awarded the Dorothy Day Award for Public Service while at Villanova.

Leslie enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures. She studied abroad in Scotland, England, and South Korea. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, dancing, and trying out new places to eat.
